Enjoy listening to your favorite books in new ways. In addition to borrowing audiobooks on tape or CD, you may also download audiobooks through NetLibrary or borrow preloaded audiobook players called Playaways.
NetLibrary lets you download eBooks and eAudiobooks for free. You will need to create an account at the Library before enjoying this service from home for the first time.
These portable MP3 players are preloaded with one audiobook each.

The Deerfield Public Library hosts monthly, staff-led book discussions that are free and open to the public. You can find copies of the books to be discussed at the Circulation desk one month prior to each discussion.
