Calling all children and teens! Challenge yourself this summer by participating in our Read Beyond the Beaten Path Summer Reading Program. Register online or at the Library any time starting Saturday, June 4.
Track your reading and complete fun activities to enter weekly drawings and finish the program. All participants who complete the program will receive a free book and an entry into our grand prize drawing. Be sure to log your progress weekly to be entered into the weekly drawings. Grand prize drawing options include:
- Children Birth-PreK: Gift Certificate to the Deerfield Park District, Membership to the Peggy Notebaert Museum, or Membership to the Brookfield Zoo.
- Students K-Grade 5: iPad, Nintendo Switch, or Membership to the Brookfield Zoo.
- Teens Grades 6-12: iPad, Nintendo Switch, or VISA gift card.
Stop by the Youth Department this summer to add a leaf to the Summer Reading Program tree, take part in our summer scavenger hunts, vote on which animal the library will symbolically adopt, and more!
