The 8th annual Tournament of Books is, well, in the books! After a flurry of votes in the final week, the winning titles are:
Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin (picture books)
Elephant & Piggie books by Mo Willems (early readers)
the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (chapter books)
Smile by Raina Telgemeier (comic books)
Guinness World Records (non-fiction)
Prodigy by Marie Lu (teen books)
The closest race was in our non-fiction tournament: a mere 5 votes separated the winning title from the runner-up! Earlier in the week, our picture book bracket was the closest: Dragons Love Tacos was ahead of The Book with No Pictures by only ONE vote! All of this goes to show you how important it is to let your voice be heard and to VOTE!
