Welcome to the Library of Things (LOT) page! The Deerfield Public Library offers many exciting games, tools, and more for you to check out. All of the items are divided into different categories.
Please keep in mind the following:
- Most LOT items have a three week check out period (Exception: Backyard Movie Bundle – seven day check out period). The item may have the ability to renew up to two times, depending on the hold list.
- Upon checkout, please notify staff immediately if there are any missing or defective parts.
- Patrons assume full responsibility for the return, damage, or fees of all LOT items once they are checked out. The Library Circulation Policy provides guidelines for determining damage to items. Patrons will be billed for reasonable repair or replacement costs of individual parts or the entire item if the condition of the item makes it unsuitable to be returned to the collection. Deerfield Public Library has sole discretion in making these decisions. A list of replacement costs of items is maintained by the library and included on the contents card.
- Please return ALL items inside the library and bring them to the media desk. LOT items may NOT be returned in the dropbox outside.
