Storytimes

Find information about upcoming storytimes, our storytime-to-go kits, and links to our YouTube storytimes!

Storytimes are in person unless otherwise stated. Storytimes indicate if they require registration, are drop-in, or if tickets are available 20 minutes before start time.

Toddler Time

Tuesdays, 10:00-10:30 a.m., 10:45-11:15 a.m.
March 7, 14, 21; April 4, 11, 18
Ages 1-2 with adult
One and two-year-olds with their caregivers are invited to a special weekly storytime, including songs and movement activities designed just for them!

Tickets are available 20 minutes before start time at the Information Desk (Look for the Youth Librarian handing out nametags).

Movin’ and Groovin’

Wednesdays, 3:00-3:30 p.m.
March 8, 15, 22; April 5, 12, 19
Ages 0-5 with adult
Get up and dance in this fun, movement-based storytime!

Tickets available 20 minutes before start time at the Youth Services Desk.

Preschool Stories

Thursdays, 10:00-10: 9, 16, 23; April 6, 13, 20
Ages 3-5 independently 30 a.m., 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Three- to Five-year-olds have a program just for them! We’ll listen to stories, sing songs, and have fun while building early literacy skills!

Creative Clubhouse

Thursdays, 4:15-5:00 p.m.
March 9, 16, 23; April 6, 13, 20
Grades K-2
This program, specially designed for younger elementary students, features books and a fun craft project each week! Please dress for artistic mess!

It’s never too early to read to your baby! Join us for stories, rhymes, and songs for you and your baby, plus social time after the program.

Sensory Sundays

Sundays, 1:30 -2:15 p.m.
Suggested for ages 2-6
Inclusive and interactive storytime filled with stories, songs, sensory play, and socialization.

Youth Services has created storytime kits for you to do storytime anytime, anywhere, with your child! Click on a theme to get a list of books, songs, and activities to do with your child to promote early literacy and a love of reading.
