- Picture Books: The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak won AGAIN!
- Early Readers: All of the Elephant & Piggie books by Mo Willems, which won in 2024
- Chapter Books: Odder by Katherine Applegate was another repeat winner
- Series: Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland upset Harry Potter, which won back in 2023
- Comic Books: Dog Man by Dav Pilkey beat Raina Telgemeier!
- Manga: Shibanban by Yasuteru Ogoshi
- Non-fiction: The National Geographic Weird but True books won again — in the closest vote in Tournament history….by one vote….over Claude: The True Story of a White Alligator by Emma Bland Smith
- Teen: The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins continues to be dominant in the Teen category
