3rd through 5th graders:
You are invited to DPL’s first-ever all-online book club for kids! We’ll be exploring Frazzled by Booki Vivat. It’s an engaging and heartfelt realistic fiction story with plenty of visual elements folded in (think Raina Telgemeier’s Smile meets Jeff Kinney’s Wimpy Kid).
Here’s how readers can participate in our online book club:

- Download and read Frazzled by Booki Vivat from Hoopla, one of our library’s many digital resources.
- Before March 20, read the book and explore this page of resources and activities to try at home. Complete some of the drawing and writing challenges that are featured.
- On March 20, a “slow chat” will open on our discussion page and will continue through March 27. On this page, kids will be able to share their thoughts, ask questions, and reflect on the book together with guidance from one of our Librarians.
We look forward to trying this new discussion format out, and we hope some of you are able to join in!
