March 2025 Grab & Go Kits

Instructions for the Pre K and Kindergarten activity are in each kit.

Jellyfish friend

Supplies included in each kit:

• A half sphere of styrofoam
• 5 pipe cleaners
• 2 adhesive googly eyes
• A sting of fishing line

Supplies you’ll need:

• A pencil
• Tape

Instructions:

1. Optional: If you’d like to, first paint or color your half sphere of styrofoam
2. Coil a pipe cleaners around a pencil, leaving it straight at the top. Repeat with all of the pipe cleaners
    
3. Stick each pipe cleaner into the bottom of the half sphere of styrofoam. If you’re having difficulty getting the pipe cleaner in, you can use your pencil to make a hole in the bottom.
   
4. Stick your googly eyes onto the half sphere. They can be tricky to peel, but they do have adhesive backs!
   
5. Tie your fishing line together and then tape one end to the top of the half sphere
   
6. Hang up and admire your new jellyfish friend!
    

Optical Illusion Art

Create a cool optical illusion art piece!

Supplies in each kit:

• A square piece of cardstock
• A white chalk pencil
• A black colored pencil
• A sharpie

Supplies you’ll need:

• A regular pencil
• A rule (or something to draw straight lines with)
