At the Deerfield Public Library, we strive to be a comfortable and welcoming place for all. In an effort to support all of our patrons, we will be housing new Sensory Kits at the front help desk, the Youth Services desk, and the Adult Services desk. These kits are meant to help our patrons of all abilities have a more enjoyable time in the library.
In these kits, we will have 6 different fidgets, a pair of noise-canceling headphones, a mirror, and two emotions sheets, meant to be used in the library. Please feel free to use what you want — there’s no need to ask at the desk, please just return the item(s) when you’re finished or before you leave!
