Our Summer Reading Program is around the corner, and we need your help creating the new logo! This year’s theme is Plant a Seed, Read. We invite artists in grades 5 through 12 to submit their designs for consideration in our logo contest. Logo submissions may be featured on the Library’s social media accounts and publications; the artist’s first name and grade level will be included in the post. Contest Dates: Friday, February 13 – Friday, March 13
Winner announcement: Monday, March 30
Eligible participants: Deerfield residents & Deerfield students in grades 5 through 12
Your logo:
- Must include the phrase “Plant a Seed, Read”
- Cannot include any specific book, movie, or TV characters
- Must be family-friendly and appropriate
- Must be readable in both large and small formats
- Has limited number of colors and no gradients.
Submission Instructions:
- Each participant can submit up to 2 logos for consideration
- Logos can be submitted digitally or physically.
- Physical designs can be submitted to the Youth Services Desk
- Digital designs can be submitted as a .JPEG, .PNG, or .PDF file to youthservices@deerfieldlibrary.org
- When submitting, please include the following:
- First & last name
- Grade level
- School name or homeschool, if applicable
- An adult caregiver’s name and email address
