Wanting to Add to Your Own Library? Check out the Friends’ Book Sale

Do you ever look for used books to add to your shelves at home?  The Friends of the Deerfield Public Library, a 501(c)3 organization which raises funds to benefit the Library, operates an ongoing book sale in our lobby, just past the café area.  There are a variety of used fiction and non-fiction books for adult and youth readers.  Media items such as CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks are also available.

Items are not priced.  However, in exchange for items, patrons are encouraged to give a monetary donation to the Friends of the Deerfield Public Library.  While donations of any amount can be given for an item, the following donation amounts are suggested:

Paperbacks -$1

Hardbacks – $2

CDs, DVDs, Audiobooks – $2

Donations can be made by placing cash in the drop box in the sale area.  Additionally, donations can be made by credit card (see the information desk for assistance with this).

If you have any questions about the Friends’ Book Sale, please feel free to ask a Library staff member at one of the service desks.
